Happy Christmas from Windows into History

Going to Church, by George Henry Durrie, 1853

“At Christmas, all roads lead home.” (Marjorie Holmes).

Happy Christmas, and I hope you enjoyed the Christmas History series over the last 24 days.  Normal service will be resumed in a couple of days, with some “Snippets” to end the year, and then the start of a new journal article at the beginning of January.

Thank you everyone who has read and enjoyed my articles about old travel journals, history snippets, creepy history and Christmas history series etc etc this year.  Windows into History has only been going for six months, but we are already approaching the 150th post, and I have been delighted with all the many comments and likes and followers in such a short space of time.

So, onwards into 2016…

Happy Times and Places.
